Good morning party people.

Dammit, don't you just hate it when you look at a correctly spelled word that you know is correct and you've used it plenty of times but for some reason it just doesn't look right?

I just did that the moment after i typed people...

Dammit, it's still not looking right. :( Frickin' sleep deprivation...

plan is to ride on the 18, leaving Harrah's at 8am, so should be at the top by 10. Most crouchrockets arent up there yet that early. Normally I see about 5-10 bikes if that in the mornings.

I plan to go up south, down east, up east down south back to the buffet. 50 miles and $hit load of climbing

A few topics for discussion:

I have a cracked window in my dining room. I have double-paned glass, and the outer pane is cracked. I got telephone estimates from 4 different places, and they were $275, $345, $410, and $565. Anybody know why this is?

I just replaced my car's clutch with an RPM clutch. Wow...it locks up on launches now. Weird.

On the other hand, I just replaced all four brake rotors and pads, and my left rear now has grease all over it and on the inside of the wheel hub. Is this a bad piston, bad seal, or just overpacked pistons and if I just clean it, it won't happen again?

Reece (my 4 y.o.) is almost ready to lose the training wheels. He's getting good.

Quinn (my 1 y.o.) is saying da-da-da-da and ma-ma-ma-ma and clapping...he's super close to his first words.

My family is asking for a Nintendo Wii for Xmas. Damn thing is addictive and an aerobic workout. Any games y'all can recommend?

Also, I love the Chargers Cheerleaders during Halloween.
Case in point: (won't post in-line, as it's a wee-bit provocative) (http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r104/Mo_Phat/random/KC_chargers277596x197.jpg)

Can anybody recommend a super yummy Thanksgiving sidedish I can try this year?

I need suggestions on what to get with my $100 Lucky Jeans gift card I got for mah Bday.

I think I'm destined to be a soccer coach next year. I'm pretty much one this year...the actual coach sucks...didn't even show up for pictures.

I've been lending my Specialized Toupe saddle to Crash to try out...now he wants to return it with $20 for the 'rental' or loan interest or some BS. I told him to keep his cash...it'd just go to hookers and crack anyway.

Is there anything better than Frito Lay sunflower seeds? David's are too damn salty, but I can nosh on FL's all damn day...like today.

Couple more:

I sent a PM to Jschen because I get kicked out of BF (logged off automatically) if I go idle for ten minutes. Is this typical of BF or is it my firewall that's doing it?

The Blast from the Past thread (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=360231) in Foo is pretty awesome.

I'm getting my car fully detailed, engine compartment too, on Friday (Bday gift from DaD)...Should I go with the Evergreen or the Cinnamon scent?

Reuniting with an Ex that you haven't seen for 12 years is strange...you find yourself not knowing what to do with your hands, as the last time you were with her, you were always touching. Saying 'Bye' is also an odd experience. It's like you have to relearn how to say goodbye to someone...the last time you did it, you were both crying or she was pissed off...I can't remember...but it wasn't a simple, "Bye."

The only interesting thing I can add so far today is that this morning as I was finishing my early morning run, as I got back onto my street I spotted 3 used comdoms along the side of the road just up the street from my house..
Couples regularly come up here because it is quite secluded but they should at least place spent comdoms in their ashtrays or something and not on my asphalt!

A year ago, some dog crapped on our front lawn. We've got a tight knit block, so I knew there was an owner who had their dog on a leash one morning, and forgot the bag...so I just left it there, but put up a sign that said, "Our lawn isn't your dog's toilet". I kept it there until the poo disintegrated, which was about a week.

Maybe George should put up a sign saying "My street isn't your mom's bedroom...pick up your used rubbers." Or something to that effect.

 Too cute. :)

As for the sidedish, nothing better than whiskey-sour-sweet-potatoes. Basically , 1 pound s. potatoes, 1 stick butter, 3/4 cup light cream (or the real thing baby if you just got to have it), 2 teaspoons cinnamon, nutmeg (to sprinkle on top), 1 cup brown sugar (plus more to sprinkle on top) and 1/2 cup whiskey. Mix all ingredients except nutmeg and whiskey, pour in casserole dish, bake at 320 for 30 minutes, pour whiskey over the top, sprinkle with nutmeg and brown sugar and transfer to broiler. Broil until golden brown. If you really want to "gild the lilly" pour whiskey and put marshmellows on top (in lieu of brown sugar), then broil until the marshmellows melt. We southerners do it right. :D

My girlfriend got me a Wii for my BDay afew months ago. It's awesome. :D

For a first person shooter, get Metroid Prime 3. It's one of the best games out there.

Unfortunately i don't get much Wii playtime either because i'm busy playing games on the computer or because my dad is watching TV (where the Wii is hooked up).

Did your double pane window have UV or gas in between the glass panes? Those items add $$$.

It is not a sidedish but do it anyhow. (http://worldwebmall.com/turduckin-recipe.htm)

grease on the inside hub is prolly from a torn CV boot. I'm sure your vette has independent rear suspension, so they are some thick CV axles back there. Normal cars are $150-200 (part alone) for a replacement CV axle after core trade in, vet might be a bit steeper. If you have the time, you can take apart the axle, and buy the 20 boot and grease and re-pack the axle your self. Messy process and I'd rather just swap the entire axle.
