The serotta sale BlastinBob posted a while ago now has one in my size. Tempting as a replacement for my dented C'dale frame. Wonder how the ride compares to my C'dale. :p

Hey all!
So my GF FINALLY got a bike.... to get her feet wet she got a Giant OCR3. I am going to be installing the slicks on my MTB and taking her out until I can afford my own road bike. I made her an account on BF. Keep your eyes out for 'Withlime', her name is Renee.

I've been trying something different for breakfast recently... I spray a little olive oil in a frying pan, put an egg in it, and when it starts to cook dump in 2/3s cup of cold rice from the night before. Once it's all cooked up, I sprinkle on some creole seasoning.
I think I'll have it today, again.
Oh, and Sonia rode AGAIN this morning!

I'm not really frying it, not enough oil and I'm mixing it in while the egg is uncooked.
and NO to the pineapples.

Fried rice doesn't require that much oil except for ones from Chinenglish restaurants. Most Chinese fried stuff are just pan fried; not deep fried.

Serotta HSG IT ($1.7k; mixed Ti & carbon, lifetime warranty), Colnago CLX ($1.5k; full carbon, 3 yrs), vs just wait and not waste my money. The frame sales doesn't happen that often though, and it's a good opportunity to replace my (dented but ridable) frame.
Indecisiveness. :p

That sounds really declicious, only might I suggest either brown rice or wild rice or better still Quinoa as they are more nutritionally sound than white rice which is basically eating 2/3s cup sugar. :)
And tell Sonia - Can't wait to ride with her! :D

I read a recipe for fried rice once and it called for a cup of butter. So, I think some restaurants may use butter or margarine and not oil - even worse!

I prefer brown rice, but it's leftover rice from dinner and the kids complain too much from brown rice.
She's ridden three times this week so maybe she's back?

Ugh, i just wasted 2 hours of my morning fixing my computer here at work.
We're running Windows 2000 here and they decided to do an update overnight that changed your user profile name (rather they just made it more specific), but when i logged on it didn't load up my old profile settings. I thought i had lost ALL my excel files i use for lab statistics along with the MS Access databases i made. I don't mind so much losing all the funny pictures and podcasts i've downloaded over the years (or even my customized firefox settings) but those excel files took me a looooong time to make.
So i spent a chunk of time trying to figure out WTF happened and then copying files and settings from my old profile folder to the new one.
Ugh...

Butter is not really worse. It promotes browning better. You're just not supposed to use a lot of it. A cup sounds WAY excessive though.
Margarine isn't good for anything.

Does your Trinewt use an O ring type mount with a swivel head? If so how is it?

I thought a cup sounded excessive, but I think it was a recipe that served 6-8 people. It also called for orange juice. Regardless, I didn't make it as I really do not need to be eating rice with butter.

No, it's a heavy strap mount and no swivel head, but the beam is pretty wide.

Quick Q. Does anyone know which one is "snappier"? Serotta HSG IT, Colnago CLX/Primavera?
When I tested rode bikes last year, between the C'dale caad8, Giant OCR c, and Spec Roubaix comp, I like the feel of C'dale a lot more because it feels "snappier" in terms of steering and road feel.
I don't want to go to lbs to tried them out and then get them online.
Thanks!
ps. If I get the ones from JensonUSA, it's a complete bike... and I may go and get another frame replacement for my C'dale later on... :p
