Which reminds me. At the last rest stop at Solvang's Finest, there was an old guy who had stuffed all his cold weather gear down his crotch rather than in his jersey back pockets. I have never seen that trick before. It looked like a huge codpiece.

Those were already small. :o Their 3rd gen seems to be more form fitting though; and I've never seen their 2nd gen. I think they're still playing around with their designs.

Do bears have those? I mean, some animals do and some don't. Like hummingbirds for example, what do they use?

although having personally spend allot of time in the wild, i have never trapped or seen a bear's testicles so...i guess i would have to pull myself from this conversation....but i did stay at a holiday inn express last night!

Yes, ME, bears have external testicles...all mammal males do.
And yes, hummingbirds have testes, too, but they're inside. They produce sperm and the sperm is passed to the cloaca throught the vas deferens. 'Sex' between two hummingbirds is all about touching cloacae(?...cloacas?), as hummingbirds don't have penises.

*edit* Before some Holiday Inn Express super genius chimes in here, Whales and probably a few other mammals don't have external genetalia. They're kept up in the body for warmth and protection or somesuch nonsense. Let 'em breathe, I say.

Can you imagine that? You're out scuba diving with some humpback whales or something...get close enough to pet him, and WHAM! You're slapped over the head by a giant set of whale cherries.
That would be rad.

In zoological anatomy, a cloaca is the posterior opening that serves as the only such opening for the intestinal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alimentary_tract), urinary (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urinary_tract), and (usually) genital tracts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_organ) of certain animal species.
