Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

All good steps to take.

Reagan thought so. Called ketchup a "vegetable" in school lunches back in the day.

Rant.
I didn't know you can get completely free medical care here even if you're working and able to get insurance from your employer or able to afford to buy your own insurance.
I was just talking about a film I saw the other day called Sicko with a couple of my co-workers this morning where that idiot Michael Moore compares the health care system here in the US to countries with their "wonderful" socialized health care system.
My co-worker's husband who happens to work for a local Federal Gov't agency elected to not participate in their health program for his entire family because he can get completely free health care from one of the many local clinics here. Just bring in a utility bill and sign an affidavit stating how poor you are and you're in the "program". Once in the program you're set, with regular timely appointments. This co-worker had surgery about a year ago, not a dime out of her pocket.....oh, and that includes dental care as well. People tell me this sort of thing is common.....and I'm not even talking about illegal aliens! WTF!!?? This is sick.

Just dropped off my parents at the docks for their Hawaiian cruise. Now I have to cook! Luckily, my dad made enough pre-cooked, now-frozen food to last me a week. Hehe.

Well, Drew, honey, you need either a good woman to cook for you or to buy salad makings. Frozen dinners are not healthy to have on a regular basis!

so...what would be the difference between triathlete hookup and farkbuddy?
DaveSANYYZ
12-05-07, 04:17 PM
Thanks, Mo'.
I've ridden the Colnago CLX twice. It is much smoother than my C'dale. But for some reason, the C'dale seems more 'fun'. Feels like I can 'throw it around the block'. I'm not sure it's because I'm babying the CLX much more because of the price, or if it's due to other factors. Same wheels, bars, and all. The only diff is the 1" higher bar on the CLX. I'll try to get it lowered soon. No regrets on the CLX purchase though. :)

Maybe you need to dent it to really enjoy it? Unfortunately that usually doesn't work as well with carbon fiber.

duration and expectations - with a "hookup" you don't have to manage any expecations, you just put the plug in the outlet and light up the room. With the farkbuddy, the plug is in the outlet on a regular basis, but you'd better manage the outlet's expecations on how many times that plug is coming and whether or not the plug will be staying for breakfast in the morning, wants to meet the outlet's friends or not and if there is any possible future for a combined energy-saving agreement.

I think the size is ok. Same dimension as my C'dale from the spec as well from a left/right comparison.

I have heart-shaped lips and a very, very, very tiny mouth, but big teeth. :o
Let's just say, sucking on a popsicle can present an issue when the popsicle is large. I pretty much have to lick the sides and suck off the tip to get it to melt. But I've encountered some pops so thick, I could barely get my lips around them.

Meh.
I have a serious biking problem and cook dinner nearly every day (buy lunch though).
When my GF is in town, who cooks is determined by who gets hungry first. Since we both have about the same power/weight, and do the same rides together (mostly climbing) it gets interesting.

OK, just stop right there with the innuendo! You've won! You can't possibly go further. It's all downhill from there. Retire!

yes.
edit: Google found me this: http://www.vpi.us/cgi-bin/vpi/usb-audio.html in a few seconds.
I bet you can find one for less, and I know you can find them for more (I have a fancy one that does 24 bit/96kHz and nice preamps on A/D inputs)
