Southern California - So Cal needs a long thread "What's Up?" type thread!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

"Dats the Shizz!"
We can add that to a long list of memorable quotes such as:
Wazzzuuup:p (beer commercial dudes)
Dynomite! (JJ - Good Times)
Aaay! (the Fonz - Happy Days)
Where's the beef? (Wendy's hamburger pitch granny)
Wha'chu talkin' 'bout Willis? (Arnold - Diff'rent Strokes)
Hey Hey Hey (Fat Albert)
Hey hey hey (Dwayne - What's Happening!)
Keep On Truckin! (hippies)
Doh! (Homer Simpson)
Let me guess...you work in television?

If it was a full-zippered jersey, they'd sell a few more.
/actually, they could use one of any of the hundred or so shots James took of Rick's tortured mind/body/soul...I'd gladly hang that up in my garage. Some chick, boobin' it up in short shorts (not even sugar shorts) doesn't do 'it' for me. It does 'that'...but not 'it'.
:edit: tortued has another 'r' in it, n00b.

I just delivered my last Xmas commission to one of my longtime trainer-clients... or rather, one of his youngish assistants, who responded with, "Dats the Shizz!" He said some other stuff but I'm old and had no idea what he was saying. But I think it was all good.
Joy, you use the phrase 'all good'. You're not old.
I still use Mutha Trucken. I think it has spanned generations with grace and poise.

On these here intartubes, we say biatchen to avoid the censors...even though it's technically against the rules.
Vulgarity
As a community with a diverse variety of members and readers, we ask that our members to post without using vulgarity. Vulgarity not only includes vulgar language and pictures but also sexist, racist, anti-religious and homophobic language which may offend other members. In addition, the "masking" of vulgarity by inserting * or another keystroke in place of one or more letters in a vulgar term is unacceptable in most cases.
But I've been using Biatch, ass, prick and a few others for years.

Like Mom always said, if you can't say anything nice about someone, say something vulgar and demeaning instead.

Hi All,
Well I guess that three, incredibly busy weeks at work took their toll. I tried to go to work today but it wasn't working. So here Iam, in bed with my laptop  taking a closer look at what I've been missing at BF.
BTW, we did get Verizon FIOS over the weekend and, so far, I'm very happy. :)

:( You got hit, too, huh? Sorry, Cleave. Lots of liquids (as if you don't already know that). You're not missing much here but there are some great pics over in the Burrito errr Pizza Thread. :)

My wife correctly identified the colors of the stripes on our flag and was granted US citizenship earlier this afternoon. About time she did this as we've been married for over 20 years...
Now I just need to convince her to vote Republican...:p :D

Congratulations to your wife on her citizenship (and political insight). Oops! :D

The kids and I had some excitement tonight... there were two apartments in the complex here that were on fire. :(
It was not near us and we weren't in any danger. I haven't heard what happened or if anyone was injured. The fire department just left a few minutes ago, the Arson team and American Red Cross are still here.... kind of eerie looking at the burnt exterior.

My avatar is not cool, Jeff. It's a reprsentative of how much I'm a dip****. I went to Performance last night to buy my Dad his Christmas gifts and bought one of those little mask things for myself too, and just had to get the one on sale. It's full on fleece. This is California. Need I say more?:p

Forecasters say it's gonna be wet in the southland for a few days, so I'm predicting the SoCal threads will be "active."
Actually, no. It dies here around this time of year, rain or shine. I've found the boards to be more active when people are riding. I'm always on here though. You have that to look forward to. :D

Joy is the ultra ninja. She's the Panda. I aspire to be Joy, but never will. For one thing, I'm four inches taller and am like a small cow in comparison to her lithe frame. But I can aspire all the same.

A blond ninja ... don't see that too often. I love pandas ... I just wouldn't want to get close to one. They'll wack your head off. Don't touch their bamboo!
