Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I need some really long brake and derailleur cables and housing for a recumbent bike I'm building. I could do with a touch shorter, but I'd really like that extra length. Anyone know who sells any that long?

Tandem length cables and housings. They also make connectors for this use. Nashbar is always spotty, but I've bought tandem brake cables from them.

These guys have 108" brake wire for $4.50 each.

And shifter wire at 118" at $6.50 each.

Also, they sell both housings (typically 12' continuous lengths), about $1/foot for lined.
