Hi I bought a pair of Dura Ace BR-7700 brake calipers to put on a 2001 OCLV. When I tried to install the calipers I realized the pivot bolt that runs through the frame and fork are too short (front and rear.) The nut will not start to thread. Does the OCLV frame require a longer nut? Surely I can't be the only one whose had this problem, but I can't find anything on the internet addressing this. Plus the shimano directions are horrible. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Often the frame will come with a bag with the longer nut(s) in it. If not you can get them from any shop that handles carbon forks or frames. You might want to bring the bits with you to make sure you get the correct length nuts.

Longer nuts might fix part of the problem, but the hole seems bigger than normal, almost like it requires some sort of bushing. This is a Trek OCLV frame. Does anyone have advice on fitting brake calipers to these frames? Where do you get longer nuts?

The nut is the bushing(It is not so much a nut as a threaded bushing with a flare on one end.). If you go to a (good) bike shop they will have what you need.
