I was planning an outing with some non-cycling friends today, only to discover the Tammany Trace (http://tammanytrace.org) was closed over the exact section we were planning to use. The Crescent City Cyclists were having an organized Century.
Blah.
But on the other hand, cool. So maybe one of you folks could use the heads-up on it. It looks like a nice route, and while some of the century riders might want to have left at this point, there's plenty of time for the shorter rides. Hell, if I didn't already have some sort of plans together at this point, I'd go do the quarter century as my first organized ride.
