am a noob =).
But am looking at a Pista. I live just north of Palo Alto.
I know the best way is to actually get fitted on the maker/style of the bike i want - so where to go.
I'm 5'9", 30" inseam. sooooo....that's usually 57?

How 'bout The Bicycle Outfitter in Los Altos (owned by PA Bicycles, so they should've checked for you).

Shaw's would be good for a fitting, I think. Terry Shaw's a trackie from way back and does a good job. Very low-key and old school.

went to velo bikes in menlo park (i live like 4 min north =)),
got fitted
im a 55!

You might want to try Crossroads Bicycle shop in Los Gatos. I was in there today and they have a number of Bianchi's in stock. Small shop with great service.
