Can anyone offer feedback/reviews of the Pearl Izumi Gavia gloves? Temps during my winter commute are typically in the teens (fahrenheit). During the coldest weather I use Pearl Izumi Inferno gloves, and like them. The Gavia seems to fill the gap somewhere between mild cold and extreme cold. Anyone tried them?

I have the Cyclone gloves and my housemate has the Gavias. Temperature and waterproof-wise, they're the same. The Gavia has a zipper. It allows water to leak in and you get wetter faster. My Cyclone gloves don't do that.

Rain isn't much of a consideration where I am. Fact is, I left Portland to get away from it. But I was also chased out of P-town by an angry mob during a Providence Bridge Pedal because I was taking pictures using a disposable camera. Very uncool of me. Thought I was going to be tarred and feathered (in feathers voluntarily given up in a cruelty-free aviary, of course). ;) I like Portland a lot, spent a lot of time there back in the day.
