Can anyone Help?
I have a folding woman’s bike with 19 inch wheels, a bright yellow, approx. 1970 given to my wife as a present around that time. She used it only a few years.
It is Italian made, the name on the label says ALX SPORT with Italian colors (green white and red) on the label.

Its been kept in the garage for approx 28 years.
It needs tires and a couple of weekends of TLC but I think it would look very good again.

I can’t find anything on ALX on the WEB.

Do you have any info on this?
I’m cleaning out the garage and have to make a decision as to keep it or toss it.
My wife doesn’t have any sentimental attachments to it.
Being in our 50’s, we haven’t ridden bikes in many years. Yes I know it is good exercise. If we start I probably would buy new.

She also has a Huffy “OPEN ROAD” 25 inch wheel-woman’s frame, that needs tires, again kept in the garage for approx. 28 years. This would also need a couple weekends of TLC.
Please contact me at ajcforest@yahoo.com

Thanks

I dont have any info on the bike,

But you can allways sell or give it away on Craigslist to someone else who would like to fix em up and ride em! I hate seeing bikes getting tossed :( btw, were are you located?

You sure it's got 19" wheels? That's a weird size.Might not find tires for it.Maybe there 20"?I don't think you need to"buy new".You've already got 2 of them.Give them time it needs to get them running. You'll find that they'll do fine if you are using them recreationally.Sounds like the bikes are just seized up from sitting for so long.If you get in over your head there's always somebody here that can "talk you down":)
