Has anyone heard an update on Beloki? How's he doing after that crash in the TdF?

Cofidis talking to Di Luca and Basso – but not Beloki
Cofidis directeur sportif Bernard Quilfen has admitted to the Velo101 website that the French team are in the middle of negotiations with Fassa Bortolo’s Ivan Basso and Saeco’s Danilo Di Luca. Cofidis are having a major clear-out of riders at the end of this season, and have already brought in Frenchmen Jimmy Casper, Christophe Edaleine and Jimmy Engoulvent. Now it seems the two highly-rated Italians are their next targets.
"The decision on whether we’ll sign them will be taken in the next few days," Quilfen told Velo101 in San Sebastian over the weekend. Quilfen denied, however, rumours linking Cofidis with ONCE team leader Joseba Beloki. "I don’t know anything about that, and if there was something happening I would say," declared Quilfen authoritatively.
Beloki, though, has made clear that he is only prepared to sign for a team that would guarantee him a high finish in the Tour’s team time trial stage. With David Millar already on the books, and Basso and Di Luca being lined up to join, Cofidis would seem to be one of the few teams that would fit Beloki’s requirement.
So, he's well enough to be negotiating next year's team.

Phonak is talking to him. But since they're a team that isn't even guaranteed entry to the TDF, I don't see it as being his kind of team.

anyone see the add giant took out for him in VeloNews (magazine). Pic of him on one page and the other is something to the effect of "Next year senor, next year" Simply awesome :)
