I went through 2 inner tubes today, I've been using the bell tubes at walmart because they're cheap, but lately I've been going through tubes so quick the savings aren't really worth it. I hoping to find something like these at the LBS, but has anyone used anything similar with positive or negative results?

The super thick seem like the best bet, but I don't know if I trust the difference in diameter from the top to the bottom, it seems like it would inflate funny

If the punctures are on the outside, you need new tires. If they are on the inside, get a new rim

it's just thorns and tacks that got through the to the inner tubes, the tires are usually pretty good
at catching the thorns unless it's long suckers that get through

It's obviously the tires, no good tires would have 2 a day

Did you take out the thorns that got stuck the first time?

Get a good patch kit to save you some money. I don't even remember the last time I had a flat.
If you've got $12, get some Mr. Tuffy tire liners. I have so many thorns and goatheads in my area that I'd have flats daily if it weren't for 'em. I've run over glass bottles and stuff too since then and I haven't had a flat since installation.

I'll be piking up a patch kit soon, now that I have decent tubes it should be worth it to repair them instead of replacing them. I pick the thorns out as soon as I notice them, most of the time it wasn't a problem unless I hit a monster one, which has been happening frequently lately
