Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Last weekend I really enjoyed riding in the Green Lake Wisconsin area. Ended up riding 178 miles between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Saturday there happened to be a ride organized by Big Brothers Big Sisters that I participated in. The highlight of my riding was coming across two Amish (or Mennonite?) boys on rollerblades and racing them, much to everyone's delight, including a group of Amish boys and girls onlookers from a nearby barn. The Green Lake Chamber of Commerce has wisely added bike routes to their website as a way to lure visitors to the area. I found many lightly traveled, smoothly surfaced roads with plenty of hills for added fun. I'm dying to find out what the % grade is on Swamp Road, just north of Princeton/Old Green Lake road is.
