Hello,
I don't even ride as of yet. I am in the middle of traing for a marathon this year and need to do something that doesn't beat me up as much on some training days. So, here I am. I went to my LBS and am Contemplating what type, brand and model to get into. I live in the Phoenix area and there is a ton of beautiful places to ride off road. So I think I am leaning towards the mountain bike thing. At least I have options to either ride the street or the trails. I got my eye on a Cannondale F-7. The sales guy is a tri-athlete and says its a decent entry level bike. I don't want to spend a ton when my goal is marathoning. Anyway thats about it for now. I hope to get some good advice and maybe this bike thing will stick.
