Knobby on the SART/SGRT Ride?

Anybody ever ride their MTB knobbies on these trails? I have done a 42 miler on my Trek 8000 hardtail with 2.1 knobbies. I often wonder what it would be like to have a whole group of riders on knobbies heading to the beach. No crossbikes, no hybrids, no slicks, just pure knobbies!:D

OK, maybe cross, hybrids,slicks for the wimmins, but all men on knobs!:mad:

Hmmm, I've only taken knobbies twice on the trail. I thought the humming noise was cool. A group of us could attract bees! Don't know why we'd want to, but we could!:D

Actually I was thinking if we rode knobbies and the wives rode roadies, it would be a family ride and not a hardcore roadie ride!:D

Funny idea Beanz, but I'm with ronjon, I hate riding knobbies on paved stuff. I'm always thinking that I'm doing so much work and not going very fast.

I have a racer friend and I make him ride his knobby tired bike when we ride together on the path.

I like the hum of knobbies on pavement, too...

I ride my knobby on SGRT - I'd be in for that one!!
