I posted over in the road forum before realizing that there is a specific forum for winter riding.
I am starting to consider the idea of trying to bike at least a little in the early winter. I live in Ottawa and once the full winter blows in I am definitely not going to ride outside -40 degree C and higher with a wind chill doesn't appeal to me.
Anyways I am curious what people have used for jackets in the winter. I am interested in purchasing either a pearl izumi gavia or barrier jacket and was wondering how people have found them. I am a little skinny guy and I freeze my butt off relatively quickly.
