2001 52 cm Kona Major Jake cyclo-cross frame (Easton UltraLite tubing, Mango Yellow)
Winwood carbon fiber fork
Campagnolo Centaur 9v derailleurs, 13-26 cassette and shifters
Shimano BR-550 cantilever brakes
Campagnolo Proton wheels with Tufo tubular clincher tires
Truvativ Rouleur GXP 38/46 crankset and bottom bracket
Fizik Arione saddle
Spare 13-26 cassette
$1000
I bought the frame new in 2002, raced it lightly -- about a dozen times -- for three seasons, and rode it occasionally on the road. Never crashed. I changed to the Campy components in 2003. I added the brakes crankset and a new chain in 2005, but have never raced with them, and have probably less than 300 km on the road on them. The tires have never been ridden -- I also have a set of road wheels.
This is a beautiful bike. It handles, in my opinion, better than most others: it's quick in the switchbacks, and handles beautifully on singletrack. It's an amazing race machine in excellent shape, but it's equally at home on the road with slick tires.
I would prefer a local sale (NYC area) but I can ship if necessary.
