Hi,
I would like to build a set of 48h 700 bomb proof wheels.
1. What rim is recommended that is very strong? (Sun RhynoLite, Mavic 319, Velocity Dyad, more...)
2. Hubs for 48h?
3. Spokes? (DT Alpine III Gouge 13, 14...)

Please add some links to your recommendations, because I had hard time to find 48h equipment.
Thanks,
Kfir

good choice

You're going to need to spend a lot of $ for good wheels with those specs anyway, so you might as well build up a set with:

velocity dyad rims, Phil Wood hubs, and DT Swiss Alpine III spokes

Dyad, Phill Wood.

Velocity dyad and either the Phil hubs or possibly the DT swiss. The DT are a better deal on the rear hub, can be 100 less. They have a stronger cassette mounting according to some. And you can replace bearings in normal fashion. Straight, non-DB, spokes.

Spicer used to list many options in the DT, though I haven't checked recently.
