So yay, another forum I’m bound to become addicted to:D I got a lovely PM (and I don’t mean that in a sarcastic way, it was by far the most welcoming message I’ve gotten while joining boards) telling my I can introduce myself here. So, yeah I’m 16 (17 in a month or so I guess) and started riding roughly 50 days ago and hit my first 1000 miles just today. I live in California in the Bay Area, so there are definitely quite a few cyclists around.

And here I am in all of my disheveled glory

Add on about 4 more inches of hair and you have me in my present state. As for my ride, it’s a trek 1000 with Look 3.1 pedals. The Sora shifters can be annoying, but with the limited budget of an unemployed student I'm happy to have the bike at all:) Thats about it, I look foward to reading all the topics and whatnot.

Where do you ride? Welcome! I try to ride on Canada Road on my MTB at least once a week.

Yeah, usually Canada road is fun. Then I usually go over to Robert's of Woodside, then down 84 take a right on Alameda and ride until I reach the end of Alpine. Turn around and have a jolly good time coming back. Maybe 40 miles round trip.
