I just wanted to let you know of a great friend of mine, Dave, who is riding 3790 miles across the USA to raise awarness and money for the "Make-A-Wish" foundation.

Dave is hoping to have enough donated to grant two wishes for these kids. Each wish costs about $7000. We are hoping to get 3000 people to each donate $5.

Dave has a website set up where donations can be made and you can follow him on his ride. All the money donated goes directly to "Make-A-Wish". None of it goes to Dave or his web designer. The site is www.GRAMForTheKids.Org

If you get a chance, check out the site and if you can please help out the cause.

Thanks so much!
Tani

Just an update ~

Dave in now in Murphysboro, Il heading east to get to Yorktown, VA. He's guessing he has about 8 more days of riding left.

Anyone done that leg of the ride and have any info to pass along? So far the maps have been pretty good, they aren't perfect, but they usually get him to where he needs to be.

He had a few dogs chase him in MO and has seen more than his share of roadkill! He has his three boys tagging along and they are all having a great time.

I'll keep you posted on how things are going!

Tani!
