Hi everyone...I'm new to this site. I've been a diehard touring cyclist for over 30 years. I've just overhaul my 72' mondia super speciale. It was very hard trying to find replacement campy parts for such a wonderful steed. I've ridden down Hwy 1 in California from the bay area to Newport Beach. Lots of touring in the Wine country of Ca. My wife, and I did the inagural bikecentennial coast to coast ride of 76'. We continued to tour until our 3rd child was born. About two years ago I started developing an itch to tour again. My younger two sons would love to head out with dear ole' dad on an adventure. We will give it a go next spring! For now; I'm in need of your help...I have a Nordictrack NT-4000 mtn bike that has just developed a crack on the upper chainstay u-mount. Nordictrack can't help me, and I'm hoping someone in this group can tell me what frame I can put all these wonderful parts on. I want to stay in shape over the winter months with this bike. Please help me with some great suggestions on how to proceed. Thanks for taking the time to read my litany...M.M.
