Anyone else have this Topeak handlebar bag? Anyone else have a hard time getting it to stay put on the handlebar? I've used this thing on long rides and around town and no matter how much I tighten it, I can't get it to stay put. The contents are usually my keys and a cable. I'm using the right shims that came with it.

Does it have a locking cable? I had to install that with mine because it would work its way forward and down. The cable loops over the bars and under the stem so the bag can't rotate and it solved my problem. If you have a newer bag it should have come with one. If you can't find it contact Topeak because they are very good with customer support and could send you one.

I have one of these bags, bought it used on e-bay. I'm happy with all my other topeak products except this one. It stays put just fine, but it flops around a lot. It's obviously not meant to haul more than a few pounds. Topeak should have designed the bag with an aluminum or steel frame, not plastic, and the brackets used to attach it should be stronger.

Which model? If you are referring to the TourGuide DX I'm wondering if the bag that you bought used was some how modified (material removed)? The design has a fair amount of structure to it, and was designed to carry heavier loads (relative to handle bar bags that is).
