Foo - Candy Corn

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
As you know Halloween is rapidly approaching. Or, did you miss the three day promotion back in July...right before the xmas decorations came out. But I digress.
Candy Corn, the treat that makes the corruption of my high holiday all worthwhile. Unfortunately, there is a mutation at work and I don't like it. Do you?
What's your favorite?
Yellow tipped.

Agree with Tude. I usually don't go for candy unless there is chocolate involved. There is something about candy corn that is inherently evil.

+1 I feel you must have chocolate everyday or you will die. As for candy corn that stuff is nothing but gross!!!!

the evil element of the candy in and of itself should make it worthy then. I run hot and cold on this candy. I feel about candy corn the same way I feel about circus peanuts. Sometimes I could eat an entire 1 lb. bag, other times, I would rather eat skunk arse.

Now I like circus peanuts - that kind of bananananan-like overpowering smell, plus ... More bang for yer buck ... You can play with them. They're fun to squish! and to stretch!

yes, but with the candy corn, especially the tri or quad color varities, you can try to nibble just one layer of color at a time. precision eating as it were. you can find play value in most foods, if you look hard enough. there are three exceptions to this rule, but of course you already knew this.

Yeah. Stephen King could write a book about it.
Something like 'Children of the Candy Corn'
If you rub candy corn on your face, you get pimples and black heads. Yet another example of hard pore cornography.
Yessssssss, candy corn is evil ....

Candy Corn == Killer.

Especially if you are older.

Candy corn falls beneath the "blechhhh!" line. So do those circus peanuts - but still far less disgusting than those horrendous peeps abominations that crawl out of their mutant caves in disturbing numbers before Easter.
Halloween candy should be chocolates, or smarties, or sweet tarts.
TG - you know nothing of "older" :)

What's all the hatin' about. Chocolate is special and I'd never forsake it for Candy Corn, but it is my seasonal indulgence.
Candy is candy, can't we just love it for that? 'Cept for Peeps that is. That slip is just nasty!
As soon as someone includes a line in every poll that offers " I don't do polls. Polls suck". I find it impossible to participate.

hahahah, yep that was traded right along with anything that contained coconut (foolish child I was) and those nasty popcorn balls my neighbor used to make. Mom made out on Halloween.

You got no right to treat my homie like that. You owe him an apology and some punkin shaped sugar.:D
Incorrect, it's MY thread and MY poll. I'll thank you very much to just toddle along now and go play with your balls while I eat your nuts.
There is something about candy corn that is inherently evil.Ezzacly. I didn't know people even ate the stuff. I figured it was just recycled and resold each year, and no one has really noticed.
those nasty popcorn balls my neighbor used to make. It's just as well. They were all laced with bad LSD and broken razor blades, anyway. Didn't you know that everyone hates Halloween and tries to kill children using an obvious and easily-traceable method?
Ezzacly. I didn't know people even ate the stuff. I figured it was just recycled and resold each year, and no one has really noticed.
You're confusing Candy Corn and Peeps.

Googled some different versions of candy corn and saw more craft items that used it as a decoration. :D
No, Peeps are consumed. Not eaten, mind you. Microwaved, smashed, blown up, run over, kicked, stabbed, and melted, but never eaten. ;)
