Just wanted to say hello to all my fellow bikers around the world. I don't ride as much as most of you (three kids under the age of 5) but I enjoy it when I can get out (about 75 miles/week). I just took up the sport this year at age 38. Love it! My bike isn't anything too special. An '06 Trek 2200 that is stock except for the saddle. Plan on upgrading to ROL wheels next year, and maybe go to a double, but not really wanting to get all crazy. Might as well buy a new bike if I do!
I live in an area with a good combination of hills and flats. Love it when we get a good tailwind in the flats. Gives me the perception that I am bionic :) I'm still trying to fly up the hills but my legs just aren't strong enough ... yet! Maybe if I get a trailer to haul my two oldest it'll build up those quads a little faster.
Anyway, Hi! I probably won't be posting as much as lurking. Good info in here! See you around!!
