Does anyone have any experience with those neoprene headset protectors, now winters coming I'll be sticking my raceblades back on my bike and I would like some protection for my headset bearings.

If you're just asking for an opinion...I'd say don't waste your money.

Much like boots on suspension forks, that protector will just hold dirt and moisture in and won't let it drain away. A better sealed headset or repacking with good waterproof grease more often is a better investment of your time and money IMHO.

OK Wordbiker, will take your advice and not bother with one. I was just being a lazy sod anyhow trying to save myself a bit of maintenance work
