<----noob alert.

Hi guys,
just wanted to see if there are any recommendations on a place to purchase/install a brake+lever for my mercier kilo tt. am getting the bike within a week so ordering online would also be fine.

As for shops, I live in Menlo Park so there's Menlo Velo bikes (they said it's around $100 parts and install), go bikes-redwood city, the bike connection, etc. I just want a bmx-style lever at the center of my bar.

Thanks guys,

If you don't mind a CalTrain trip to San Mateo, Talbots Cyclery has lots of BMX type levers and Cyclo-Cross style interrupter levers too. The rest of the cost is the brake. A single front brake can run up to $35... your best bet is to search Craigslist for used brakesets. (I may have a set of used Tektros that I bought for a project but never used and could sell.)
