Part of the reason I stopped bicycling way back when was a right knee injury. Went to a chiropractor(wish I went to a real doctor now) got diagnosed with chondromalacia. The past month or so I've had no knee problems. But feel it's mainly because I'm so out of shape my rides are pretty short..

Pretty soon I'm going put on clipless pedals and I want to ensure that as my mileage increases my old right knee problem doesn't pop up. Possible contributors to my knee problem toes point outward and right leg's slightly shorter than the left. There's a bike fitter where I bought my bicycle at Pacific Bicycles in downtown SF. Just wanted some suggestions based on personal experience.

TIA

I got fitted for my bikes at Whole Athlete. They did a pretty good job, solved problems I was having with my knee.

I just had a fit session with Mark Rodamaker in Los Altos (mark@mcrfea.com) on my track bike. Very thorough session starting from the cleats all the way through to the bars.

Since Curtis is also a PT, I'd highly recommend him for your scenario. But he is very busy and appointments will be a few weeks away.

I'll second the Curtis Cramblet recommendation. Worth the wait...

I used Performance Training Center in Mill Valley. They fit my bike and the difference was remarkable.

They now have an office in San Francisco:

Hummmm. How about the East Bay? My wife tells me I should shell out and get the thing really dialed.
