Hi.
We're traveling to New Mexico in November and would love some input into where to ride! Road and off road suggestions welcome and appreciated!

Wanted to bump this up as we might also be vacationing there in the coming year. Any road responses?

Well, forgive me if I try this one more time. Any riders in Santa Fe who care to share routes?

I'm from Santa Fe. There are a bunch of places to ride, are you more interested in Mountain Biking or Road?

This may be late but even though they are the New Mexico Tourring Society, some rides are anything but touring...

http://www.swcp.com/~nmts/rides.htm

Example Not a TDF HC climb but a work out nonetheless 4200 ft in 16.5 miles well the climb starts at mile 6 so it is actually 4000~ in 10.5 miles http://www.swcp.com/~nmts/rides/santaFeSkiAreaClimb.htm

The good and safetier rides are actually around Albuquerque especially the Sandias, it's about 45-70 minutes from Santa Fe!

Thanks, I should have come back here and reported that I have been in touch with the NMTS. They have a great site and a couple of their members have sent me additional info. I think we have decided to stay in Galisteo. Still close to Santa Fe but looks like better riding will be just out the front door. Plus we have friends in Edgewood so would be closer to them. I will have to work on my climbing so I can tackle Heartbreak Hill!
