Here is the seating chart.
For that price, I hope she's the king and/or queen of Montana. Hell, she'd better be the king/queen of somewhere better than Montana!

She's not even that good. I don't think theres even one song i like of her, and that's coming from somebody who liked the Lazy Town Cookbook song, and Likes the music, amongst other things of common pop culture such as lindsay lohan, britneyy, hilary duff, etc
But kids seem to be crazy about her i do know that much.

For those of you that don't know...she is Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter. That is the next thing to royalty in the U.S. America. Hence the high prices.

How the hell can being Billy Ray Cyrus's daughter make you anything close to royalty? The man's only song that hit big is a punchline.
Ohhh, she's Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter? That explains everything!

I sort of referenced this above, but it's only you who can make yourself feel inadequate. I had to learn this, I didn't invent the notion. ;)

Scalpers, those damn scalpers.
NC State law allows scalping tickets, but the law also says that you can only sell the ticket for 3% more than face value.

If your kids need to hear Hannah Montana songs, I could give you a few links to all her discography and you could just download it.
Not that I would ever advocate downloading mp3s.

Even though she has nothing to do with the state, as the only active member actually from Montana, I feel compelled to apologize to everyone.

S'okay, Cypress. I never even blamed you.
I don't recall ever even having heard her name until this thread floated to the top, but I still, somehow, blamed Cypress for whoever this person is, and his empty apology only served to slightly inflame my vague anger.

Interesting just how in-touch we can be with a part of the world and yet not be in-touch with an even bigger part of the world.

Wow, I don't even know who this character is, but if she is asking this much for tickets, she must be related to this Montana:

Based on your handle, I'd say you're probably not her target market ;) :D
My daughter (7 years old) loves Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus/Destiny Hope Cyrus. Has her CDs. Puts on concerts for us in my home studio, etc. They did a great job of marketing her and she is pretty darn talented for a 15 year old (although IMHO LeAnn Rimes had better chops at 15). But voices all mature at differnt paces. The music isn't my cup of tea, but when I listen to it with my daughter, it isn't aweful considering the market it was targeted at. And if I had a chance to write with Destiny or Billy Ray I'd jump at it in a heart beat. Actually a person from our church has a co-write with Destiny/Miley/Hannah on her latest album. It may be my favorite song on the two CD set, but also, probably the one least targeted at the tweener market.
I actually like Billy Ray too. Not the Achy Breaky Billy Ray, but he has had some pretty good songs over the years. He's a good writer and has a good voice and now seems to be a pretty centered and decent guy if you get past all the achy breaky years hipe. They actually live down the road from us about 10 miles when they are in Tennessee (as far as I know they still have the property here) and they go to our church when they are here. Though, they are out on the road and in Cali quite a lot now ;).
Anyway...that's how I see it.
But, I certainly wouldn't pay more than face value to take my daughter to the concert. Since they are selling out, that won't happen. Heck, I didn't even pay $150 a ticket for the Eagles when they came through and I love them!
Cohophysh - I love the picture. I love that you were at a Jonas Bros concert with your daughter! :D Awesome man!

Concert prices are outrageous. I seem to remember someone saying they'd do something about it sometime ago, and it had something to do with ticketmaster, but damn.. the only band I'd pay over $100 to see refuses to come to America because their lead singer thinks the U.S's policy of fingerprinting all foreigners is an invasion of his privacy.
Aaahhh... all this talk is bringing back the memories of the good ol' days... do you guys remember the Nelson's? Man, those chicks were hawt!! :p
Seriously though... what's with the Naked Brothers Band? Let's put a bunch of no talent, no singing, out of pitch and tune kids together and market the heck out of them and brainwash kids into thinking they really like them!! It'll make millions. And once that dies we'll start all over again with a new crop of talentless kids! It's the Disney way!
