Versus now in HD

If you have DirecTV and HD, you now get Versus in HD (technically the HD bandwidth is split between Versus and the Golf Channel).

I don't know what this means about cycling however. But to a great extent, they are limited by the feed that they are provided - yeah, I suppose the mobile studio could be in HD, but who cares. For lesser events that are broadcast in tape delay, it might be easier as there is no uplink required.

I am a bit ticked it is a shared channel...both ways because I have missed some HD golf I wanted to see because of the switched and I missed a show on Vs I would rather have seen in HD because of golf. Ehh....I do like the new HD channels.
