Hi all, I'm a long time lurker, but this time I can't find what I'm looking for :)

Right now I'm using the Minoura swing grip for my front lights, but I'm looking for something more solid.

A while ago I saw a bike in a store that had an accessory bar, similar size to the swing grip, accept that it bolted to the stem, replacing the handlebar clamp plate and looked to be made completely of aluminum.

Does anybody have a company name or online source?

If you can find it, I would assume that it's brand specific since geometry and hole position would differ for each model.

Not what your looking for but pretty nice. I have my GPS, dual halogen light and backup light all mounted on it.

Theres another version with an even longer bar, with two clamps. But you can fashion your own bar.

If you've got enough room, the double stem technique is the cats-ass. I run it on my CrossCheck tourer.

Or consider the Thorn Accessory Bar (http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-Thorn-Thorn-Accessory-Bar-(T-shaped)-with-55mm-extension--mounts-to-1-1-8inch-steerer-tube-for-lights-computers-etc-11041.htm).
