Hey,
I wanted to do some upgrades to my bike ( Specialized P.1 ), some in the long term, some soon, and am wondering what upgrades will be worth my while. Right now my bike is stock, but with surfa grips (what an uipgrade).

Im not going for anything big, like a new fork, but things like headset, levers, stem, bars, self done "mods", ect.

Thanks.

Definitley stem and bars. Anything by Easton or Race Face will do. Also, what kind of pedals and crankset do you have?

My crankset is Truvantiv. As for my peddles i believe are the same but it did not say.

I was thinking about some bmx products for it like bar ends, stem, peddles and (in the future if at all) wheels.

The first thing I would upgrade is the fork over everything else. The bars and stem are fine, cranks are fine, wheels are ok.

Gotta go with Klein. You may not want to upgrade the big things but the biggest difference will be found with a better fork. :)

Yeah, I was talking before with a guy who just got a vps and hes like "ill trade you forks for a day" which he was jk about but think about it, a hardtail with a downhill fork.

There are some killer deals on close-outs for Marzocchi forks right now. I saw a killer deal on a Shiver SC and a DJ1, DJ2!

I'd ONLY get a 20 mm thru axle option! So, that means a rebuild with the new hub for the front wheel!

i was riding my friends p.3 that has a bomber dirt jumper 2. Its great fork but i would rather do with mine because of the wieght (harder to bunnyhop with, he rode mine then his and could barely bunny hop).

I was thinking, do they make chainwheel protecters/parkgaurds that would fit on my chainwheel?
