Moved to sweden in August '99 after a brilliant career in the fitness industry in florida. Met my future Swedish wife, went to Barnett's school in May-June, and decided change was needed. Why not try Sweden. Spent a year in school learning the language and nuturing my newborn daughter.
Began renovating and reselling bikes as a hobby, although Ihave been on bikes my whole life, mechanics was new and fun.
Used to ride only on asphalt, but discovered Mtb in colorado. Now I ride a cyclepro hardtail and a DBS mostly with my daughter on the back and am finishing up renovations on a Miyata hardtail which I think is a sweet looking bike.
Wife doesn't enjoy the steering, shifting part of cycling...so possibly tandem cycling. We like nature and camping, and cycling is big here. Any reaction to the Thorn or Dawes tandem cycle line would be appreciated.
