Hi Guys,
I am now a proud owner of a set of 07 Crossmax SLR wheels and I was wondering if 26x2.2" will fit.
The recomended tire size is 1" to 2.1". Do they mean the Min/max size when they say "recomended?"
My bike build: (so far)
07 stumpjumper Pro frame in Ano Red
08 Talas RLC 32
07 Mavic Crossmax SLR
Thomson Stem and Seatpost
Thanks for any info,
Ron

I just liked the pattern on these Specialized Compound Pro street tires for paved mountain biking (lol). yeah, I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. 26x2.1" it is. Thanks.

if i recall kenda has a tire for that to in a 2.1 called the short tracker. for mtbing and road craossmarks or the ranchero are both really good all around tires. Good all around dirt tire is the ignitor in my opinion

crossmax's can take much larger than a 2.1, no problem. Don't worry about it.

I wouldn't think twice about running a 2.2 if I desired to have one on that rim.

I have a friend who runs 29'er 2.1's on ROAD rims. You'll be fine, trust me.
