I guess it is a start. Copenhagen and Manhattan are worlds apart when it comes to traffic and cycling culture. Maybe bicycle commuting will become a widespread middle-class form of commuting in the US. I doubt many offices have the infrastructure to support commuters, like showers, lockers, etc... or even safe places to lock bikes. It requires a cultural shift-- not just some bike lanes.
