My seat on my kona cinder cone absolutely sucks. All the reviews online agree. Anyways I wanna know what I could get that will be comfortable but also healthy meaning its not gonna ruin my back or anything. Im lookin in the 35 and under range so I went to pricepoint.com saw some promising stuff but I really dont know what I am looking for. Can anyone give me a reccomendation or help me out?

thank you

Get a Real MAN Saddle (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/real-man.html)! :D

Seriously though, saddles are quite personal things. Some people are comfortable on a sheet of carbon fiber. Others require padding the likes of a futon matress. And then there's the shape. You really have to try out a few saddles for yourself. One could I suppose measure the width of their sit-bones and such and try to determine a profile. Once again, I'd think one would want to do that themselves or ask a very very very close friend for assistance. ;)

I picked up a WTB Speed V for $30 and it is very comfy. Almost right up there with my Specialized Body Geometry Sport. But the Specialized was almost twice the price.

Seriously, try a WTB.

i have never had trouble with the body geometry seats from specialized. Takes a good long ride to get use to.
