Found the link to this website in with the too many others in my bicycling folder. I think it goes back a couple years and I finally decided to sign up. Been back to road biking since my knee surgeries made me give up running and racquetball.
Anyway, I spend most of my time in Naples now and do about 35 miles every other day. It's pretty good Spring, Summer, Fall but gets pretty hazardous in the winter. This is gonna be the first time I'll be in
Naples for most of the winter so we'll see. I've been a solo rider for the most part... I'm pretty pathetic about obeying traffic laws so most groups that I run across give me good pursuit practice since I have to sprint after every stop sign to catch back up!
When traveling I haul along a fold out mountain bike and use it for rail trails, etc.
Bristol, In. is very close to southern Michigan... some of the best biking terrain I've ever encountered. Miles and miles of lightly traveled but well maintained roads... especially nice during leaf change time in the fall! Many lakes and smooth grades makes for easy long distance travel. My favorite route is about 65 miles round trip North to Three Rivers and back.
See you on the Road!
