Edge 305 Question

When I transfer data from my Garmin to the computer it is lumping all my rides from the last upload to the present as one ride, plus the date is not correct. I think I may be doing something wrong when I set the garmin before a ride. Here is what I do:
turn it on, get the satellites (that can take a while), press lap reset, then press start timer. I thought that would reset and record the ride of that day, but it appears to piling them on top of each other.
Any advise? or tips would be very helpful.

You could try loading the latest firmware... I don't have the problems you are describing with my edge 305. After I download the data, the data is reset, without the need to hit reset.

Are you holding down the lap button long enough that the screen displays "Reset In: 3-2-1"? That should do it.

I make sure that it does the 3-2-1 thing.

What do you see when you press the mode button to Main Menu | History <enter> By Day <enter>

Are the individual rides shown there? If so, it would seem to be a PC/Mac software issue rather than an Edge 305 issue.

What computer software are you referring to, Training Center?
