Hi There,

Just wondering if anyone had purchased the Cygolite DualCross Pro (New Edition with SSC LEDs, and not the older and dimmer Luxeons.)

How do you like them? Do you know how the Pro Edition compares to the DualCross 300 from a year back?
Or how the DualCross Pro compares to the NiteRider Minewt Dual X2?

I have a Fenix L2D CE, and would love to know if anyone has done a comparison against that with the Cygolite DualCross Pro.

I had the DualCross 300 Edition and it was only just about as bright as my Fenix.

I ordered it and should be seeing it on Wednesday the 10th. I returned the non Pro version because I didn't feel it was bright enough. I won't be able to do a side by side comparison though. I'll have to rely on my memory.

Where'd you order it from?

Beyondbikes has the lowest price anywhere.
I ordered from them before. I had the standard Li-Ion version of the DualCross and it was a joke. I am leery of buying another Cygolite product.

I cancelled my order with beyondbikes after the fact because I read so many horror stories about them.

The Cygolite Dual Cross is only 160 lumen... that's not very much at the $200 pricepoint. I have the X2 Dual coming soon...

If it even is 160 lumens, maybe more like 100, or 110 lumens. My Fenix is brighter and costed about 1/3 the price. :(

Really? That's interesting. I appreciate the reassurance on my decision not to go with the Cygolite.

The Fenix is a flashlight, yes?

I went with Beyond Bikes for my first order. Had no problems. I am awaiting my second order for the Pro. Grun, why are you looking at the Dualcross Pro? Are you unhappy with the Fenix?

Been using the Dualcross Pro version now and am completely happy with it. Plenty of light, plenty of battery life, and it just looks awesome on the bike. It is definitely brighter than the non Pro version. Beyond Bikes took my original version back and sent me a new one with no problems. I am happy with their service and I am keeping this one.

I ride at speeds up to 25 mph on lit and non lit streets. For my needs it is one fantastic light and Beyond Bikes had a good price on it.

the fenix is nice, but not nice enough

so i want brighter,

maybe like a dualcross pro, and one fenix together

and one more fenix for a backup

or a bunch of lights from dealextreme

plus a surefire

the dualcross pro can't take a beating, like if i bashed it a few times it will die, but not the fenix or any surefire

two fenixes is about the same brightness of the dualcross pro
