On our club ride today the route took us down Starcrest, at which point we were met by a street closer, two police cars, and officers. They would only tell us that a cyclist went down, and that it would be closed for some time. Needless to say, they would not let us pass, nor would they give us any details if the rider was ok. Given their body language, it didn't look good :(
Just curious if anyone heard anything, and if the rider is ok?

Bill, that's awful. I'm sure you are used to dealing with all types of emergencies, but this could not have been a good day for you either. :(

It has been a very trying 72 hour shift. You never get "used to it" you just get caught up in doing your job, and making good decisions. :( I know what you meant though ME, Thanks.
