Hi Gang

Can anyone please tell me why one might choose one of the following Norco bikes over the other; Drop, A-Line or Launch?

Assuming price is no issue, are they that different in what they are designed for?

Thank you, Glenn

They are designed for hardcore Freeride and Downhill riders. Norco is a very popular company for North Shore riders. Very expensive, choose wisely. This is my favorite one, the Team Shore:

a-line is a very specific bike designed for catching some air and being very fast (named after the most popular trail in whislter). In reviews the bike is known for not being a good pedaller. Team shore is close behind as it is a big hit bike. PErsonally for a decent all rounder I would go launch.

Thank you all very much. I know these bikes are designed more for the downhill stuff, but I took a Drop and Launch out for a spin and love the feel of them. I will be NOT be riding downhill exclusively and I am really looking for a good 'all round' full suspension bike. I was impressed with the Norco's.

Oh, the Shore is just a bit too much out of my price range.

Thanks, Glenn

The drop and launch are freeride bikes. They are meant to be pedalled and then ridden. They are definately all rounders :)...good choice, they are sweet.

Thanks again. Not sure where to get the bike. I have a lisy of all the dealers in town. I have been told that December/January is the time to buy. Hope to walk in with a bucket of cash and haggle a good deal then. Obviously, not in a rush right not. Too busy with the kids this summer.

Thanks, Glenn
