I just wanted to send a bit of thanks to the guys at Avid/SRAM in the Netherlands.
I had a problem getting spare parts for my BB7 brakes from the local Avid distributor. The local folks told me it would be 'sometime next year' before I could get a rebuild kit for my brakes. Clearly this wasn't good for me.
I contacted Avid Europe asking if they knew where I could buy the parts online. (I searched but couldn't find any place selling the rebuild kit.) Avid went way beyond the norms of customer service and sent me new brakes!
Not only does Avid produce the best brakes in the business, they back them up with the best customer service too. Thanks to them I'm back in the saddle again, and they have made a life long customer out of me.
It's good to know that a major company still cares about the little guy.
Here's to you, Avid!
