I saw an older thread about a guy thats rode this trail before. He said something about dogs on one section. Has anyone here had any experience riding this trail and can give me a little info on the where abouts of the 4 legged critters.

Thanks,

Ray

Dogs just help you go faster. I have riden it but it was years ago. It is a nice area but I don't know anything about dogs. I do remember that there seemed to be lots of wildlife in the park

I've got my pepper spray, but I'd rather not use it if I don't have to. I just don't understand why people get animals and turn them loose on the neighborhood. I have a dog myself but he stays in my yard and doesn't terrorize the joggers and/or bicyclists.

Thanks,

Ray

There has been alot of trail work done at the park this past summer... you might just want to give them a call & see what's up.

I rode the trail last Saturday and had a blast. I saw a bobcat walking up ahead of us on the trail. Man, are they BIG. Stopped in a little town named Cairo, WV. It was a nice little town and they were having a Pioneer Festival. Music, Food, & Drinks.

I would recommend this ride to anyone close to Parkersburg, Clarksburg, WV.

Good Riding,

Ray
