Southeast - Arlington VA LBS for fitting?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Hello all........
I'm looking at getting off of my Hybrid and onto a Bianchi Axis Cyclocross. Any good LBS in Arlington VA(nearby) for fitting etc.? Preferably a place where they don't look down their nose at you if you're toward the newbie end of the scale...
thank you for your help...... :D
Spokes Etc. does bike fits. I do not know about the Alexandria store, but there is someone at their Vienna store who is certified to do custom fits for Serotta. I've had good experiences there with other sales people, too.
I expect there are other shops in DC and Arlington that can do this (Revolution? Professional on M St/G'town?) but I don't know 1st-hand.
Check out All American Bikes in Damascus, Maryland. Serotta fit certified. I made the trip up there last week. They have Serotta and Parlee demos to ride. Nice stuff. www.aabikes.com (http://www.aabikes.com)
Capital Hill Bikes also has a fit service/system. It is not the Serotta fit service though. www.capitalhillbikes.com (http://www.capitalhillbikes.com)
Conte's Bikes in the Ballston section of Arlington fits your needs. Their employees are patient, they listen, and they will spend time with you until you are comfortable. Since you have a new bike, I doubt you'll have too many problems, but someone "in the know" should be able to make those necessary tweaks.
Do they carry Bianchi? I don't have the bike yet.
Add me to the list of All-American Bicycle in Damascas - not a short trip, to be sure (c. 1 hour from Alexandria, where I live), but BY FAR the best fitter I've encountered is Matt McGooey, the owner. A great guy, who spent three hours with me back in early September. Really nice employees, and I suspect that whether your intersted in high-end or not, Matt would apply the same level of investment infitting you correctly as he did me (BTW, I ended up buying a Parlee from him).

Big Wheel on 29 may be what you want. They were great to me when I was a noob and it is still my go to LBS.

Did you ever get fitted? Where did you go and what was the experience?
I am thinking of getting myself fitted to my specialized bike and was considering Spokes Etc over on Quaker St. Anyone have any experience with them?
Haven't gotten fitted yet. Looks like this week, and I'll go to Big Wheel, Arlington. They have Bianchi and the Axis and they've been my LBS as a noobie so..........I'll post how it was.
Thank you, people....

If you can ask for Mike Wong and tell him Joy said hi and to please take good care of you. I think you will be pleased, when I was a noob he treated with so much respect. They have taken such good care of me that I have bought several bikes and from them in the last few years.
Given the last name, that's sounds like the fellow I usually talk to. I'll tell him Joy says "Hi"

So I went and spoke with Mike today...he was very nice and answered all my questions. I guess I go in there enough, as he said he recognized me and showed me both a 58cm Kona Jake the Snake and a 57cm Bianchi Axis. I'm 6'-2", and I liked the slightly longer top tube of the Axis, so I'm going with that. Mike said that he could flip the stem, or swap it out for a different one if I wanted the bars slightly higher (for me, those drops seemed waydown there...)
As I said, this last bike was a hybrid, so this is a bit different.
Nice bike, and Mike was a big help.
