can some one please tell me how do you call this part on the bike? not the quick release,the post that handle bars go on,mine is not so good anymore and I have to order one directly from bike friday

I live in Germany I contacted the Import guy and since 3 months I am still waiting for this part,I already sended 3 mails to bike friday and not answer at all ,so I want to call them and ask them

Hi there gdlerner, I think what you are refering to is the stem or your sterring tube...The stem is what connects the sterring tube to your handlebars, so from looking at your picture, I think that is what you are refering to..
