I was on a ride with him once a couple years ago, but, he had to go back early. He lives in SoCal now, right? I was hoping he would join one of our climbing rides one day. Just one more guy for me to get dropped by.

I think that was my first BF ride-- it was about a million degrees fahrenheit down here, but pretty nice up in the mountains.

That was a ride organized by Celticfrost, before he moved to Colorado. Nice guy, and the girls seemed to like him, too.

So where did you guys go? 7 of us went to Frazier Park and rode the 4 counties route. 86 miles with 7000feet, not to mention headwinds.

We did Big T from my house in Glendale. We did the climb at pace where we could talk....until we chased down the kids. I thought we had dropped them but one guy just closed the gap like it was nothing. I jumped on his wheel but he popped me. Ten pounds and no base make for a slow devil!
