Now there are 2 or 3 Meetup biking groups in Tampa... I've been on rides with 2 of them and they were great!

Try http://bike.meetup.com/273/ in the greater Tampabay area. We're scheduling rides in Sarasota, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and surrounding counties on a regular basis. C'mon out.
