The 200K Brevet they held last January was a great route taking in Lake Hodges, Couser Canyon, Rice Valley and PCH. Anyone know if they're doing that route again in '08?

Mike's changing it up a little bit. It will probably be similar, but he wants to drop Reche Road as there have been too many bike/car incidents. I'm sure he'll take suggestions on improving the route. I think they need to loose all the climbs and just make it descents. :)

Agreed. Reche Road has bad juju. Would East Mission to East Live Oak Pard Rd be better? I've never tried that.

It's a timed event, self supported. I'm guessing a time station at the far end and one at the start/finish. You get credit for it and your name listed somewhere, plus a medal if you opt for it. :)
