Mountain Biking - Fox TALAS 32 & F100 32 Questions

Does anyone know the crown to race measurements for these forks? Why don't fork manufacturers publish this?

I'd like to possibly upgrade, but don't want something that will throw off the bike's geometry.

I wonder if I can rely on those numbers. I have seen different ones for the 32 TALAS. Does adjusting the travel on that fork effect the ride height?

I'll measure my a-c height on my talas tomorrow and get you the measurement.

i emailed fox a few weeks back about the f120 and f100 heres what i got back:

The axle to crown on the F100 is 470.9 and 490.9 on the F120 forks.

idk about the talas, and i don't know why its typing blue, prolly cause i cut an pasted the above

Thanks! If you can, set travel to 100 mm. Or if you have a lot of time measure at all 3 settings. I have read that the number does not change, but if would be interesting to see firsthand (eh... secondhand).

The 100 will likely be 470.9
and the 120 will likely be 490.9

On my Talas, in 140 it is approximately 20" from center axle to bottom of headset. In 100 it is approximately 18 5/8".
